Students (residents and commuters) can select or change their dining plan in our online system, The Housing Director (THD). Click here to get to THD Self-Service. Your username and password are the same as they are for all other WNE systems. Once you've logged in to THD Self-Service, select Dining on the left-hand menu, make sure you are in the correct semester and then you can select a plan. For Fall 2023, students have until August 29 to change or cancel plans for the Fall semester.
Dining plans come in different options to best fit the needs of our students. New and transfer students will be required to have a dining plan (information will be provided soon), and returning undergraduate students living on campus in apartments or townhouses will have the option of selecting a dining plan (listed below). In addition to the standard dining plans, students may also purchase Bear Bucks that they can use to make purchases at any dining location on campus, as well as at Domino's Pizza. Bear Bucks cannot be purchased through THD, but can be purchased through Enrollment Services.
The University hopes to reduce the stress of college by making the dining process as easy as possible. Once a student has purchased a dining plan, they have access to the dining hall from 7:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. on weekdays and 10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. on weekends. To learn more about the different plans we offer, please see below.
Mandatory Meal Plan Information
For Residence Halls
All first-year (including transfer) resident students residing in residence halls may elect to participate in the 7-Day All Access Plan or the Weekly 12 Meal Plan.
More information on plans will be provided soon.
Voluntary Meal Plans
For On-Campus Apartments/Townhouses and Commuters
Meal plans for students residing in Evergreen Village, Gateway Village, and Southwood Hall differ as these on-campus apartments provide full kitchens for the preparation of meals.
Once a student has elected to participate in a dining plan, participation and subsequent billing is binding for the balance of the academic year. There are two "open enrollment" periods at the start of each semester during which a student may change or delete his/her voluntary meal plan. Meal plan adjustments must occur by Monday, August 28, 2023 for the Fall 2023 semester.
