Master of Science in Engineering Management/MBA

College of Business | College of Engineering

The Colleges of Engineering and Business offer a dual degree program for those in the engineering profession who want to advance their knowledge and improve their management career opportunities in engineering and technology-oriented companies. Successful graduates will earn both a Master of Science in Engineering Management and a Master of Business Administration. Pursuing both degrees together will save you time and more than $17,000 in tuition. Part-time candidates can finish both programs in as few as 2-3 years.

Admissions Requirements and Process

Candidates admitted to the MS in Engineering Management program with the intent of pursuing the dual degree program will work with their advisor to select the appropriate MBA courses to satisfy elective requirements. These MBA courses will later count toward your MBA degree requirements. Dual degree candidates will typically apply for admission to the MBA program upon enrolling in their last graduate term for the MS in Engineering Management program. The GMAT will be waived for dual degree applicants. Candidates who have not satisfied the MBA prerequisites requirements will need to do so for full admission to the MBA program. The prerequisites include the following: accounting, finance, and statistics.
