Attention

An Education Tailored to You

One of the distinctions of a private university is the personalized attention students receive from faculty, staff, administrators, coaches, and upper-class students. At Western New England University, we take that commitment to a whole new level. Our intentionally small class sizes create an environment where you will feel comfortable engaging in discussions and asking questions. A focus on mentorship begins at SOAR (Summer Orientation and Registration), where you will meet your student Peer Advisor, and continues through our renowned First Year Program, which is an integral part of your entire learning experience.

Our First Year Program Is All About You

More than an orientation, we offer most comprehensive programs in the country to give you the tools and support—both socially and academically—to help make your first year of college your best year yet.

Make Connections To Our Dynamic Community

The Office of Cultural Education and Inclusion is the home away from home for many students who appreciate its warm and welcoming environment. In the U&ME Connections program, upper-class students mentor first-year students by showing them the ropes about adjusting to campus life, and many mentees go on to become mentors.

Alumni Share The Love

Our alumni love Western New England University just as much as our students do. That’s why they are active partners in your education through mentoring programs such as AlumniLinks (Business) and Engineering Alumni Mentoring (Engineering) and often return to campus to speak to classes.
