Five-year BS in Engineering/MS in Industrial Engineering

Provisional acceptance is granted to incoming freshmen who score a combined 1200 on the SAT Math and Critical Reading portions and have a 3.5 high school GPA. Students must maintain an overall GPA of 3.0 or higher each year (freshman, sophomore, and junior years) to maintain their provisional acceptance. Students who do not qualify for provisional acceptance as an incoming freshman can apply during the first semester of their junior year as long as they have a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0.

As an undergraduate student, you may major in any of our engineering options, including Biomedical, Civil, Computer, Electrical, Industrial, or Mechanical Engineering. For your graduate studies, you will take 9 credits in core courses, including Optimization Methods I, Production and Inventory Modeling, and Advanced Engineering Statistics, along with a Core Concentration in Discrete Event Simulation. You will have 3 credits in the core concentration and the choice of a 3-credit Non-Thesis option or a 6-credit Thesis option. The remainder of credits can be selected from a wide variety of courses in topics ranging from decision making to lean manufacturing.
