Academic Advising Center Staff: Sam Barrus

Sam graduated from The University of Rhode Island with Bachelors degrees in Secondary Education and Biology in 2014 and a Masters degree in Human Development & Family Studies–College Student Personnel in 2020. Prior to her time at WNE, she worked in education nonprofits and held positions at multiple higher education institutions in the state of Rhode Island.

When Sam is not working, she enjoys going to the beach, playing video games, thrift shopping, and hanging out with her partner and her two cats—Chalupa Supreme and Pebbles.
