Dear friends and partners of the College,
Welcome to the first edition of the Elements newsletter for the College of Arts and Sciences. Elements reflects our dedication to transparency and innovation. It will feature not only updates but also our shared vision and the accomplishments that shape our vibrant community. We look forward to sharing content that meets the informational needs of our partners and stakeholders.
This newsletter is a collaborative effort; your stories, expertise, and new ideas are encouraged and will be highlighted. Whether it's alumni updates, industry insights, or potential collaborations, your involvement is key to enriching our discourse.
We’ve made tremendous strides in growth and innovation. Our new Master’s in Computer Science has attracted an international audience, and we eagerly anticipate our first graduating cohort. Looking ahead, the introduction of our Bachelor's in Cybersecurity in Fall 2024 signals our entrance into a rapidly expanding field. We're also excited about the redesigned Bachelor of Arts in Law, the new Bachelor of Science in Data Science and Statistics, and the continued growth of our Psychology and Criminal Justice programs, all designed to provide distinctive, career-focused education.
I am eager to share more, but I will step back to let the following stories resonate with you. Your engagement with our content is vital, and I look forward to your active participation in our narrative.
With gratitude for our continued partnership,
Marcus Davis
Dean of the College of Arts and Sciences
