This year we will celebrate the achievements of our graduates at the MassMutual Center on Sunday, May 19, 2024. WNE aims to keep you informed about Commencement details, especially since we will be at a different venue this year. We look forward to welcoming our graduates and their families and to ensuring a memorable and seamless experience for all.

The WNE Bookstore has arranged for regalia orders to be place directly through Herff Jones. If you require regalia for Commencement, please place your order by April 13 directly online.
You will be notified when regalia is available to pick up at the WNE Bookstore. Their hours for the week of Monday, May 13, through Saturday, May 18, will be 9:00 a.m.-4:00 p.m. For questions regarding regalia, please reach out to the WNE Bookstore at 413-782-1284.
Lunch will be provided for faculty and staff in between ceremonies.
If you have a child(ren) graduating at either the Undergraduate or the Graduate ceremony and would like the opportunity to hand them their diploma, please let the Registrar’s Office know by emailing Michelle Clark (michelle.clark@wne.edu).
If you are eager to see the venue, you can view Westfield State’s Commencement that took place at the MassMutual Center in May 2023. We will share more details about the venue soon.
To ensure a smooth and stress-free experience for all, we will provide complimentary shuttle service to and from the event. Details will be released on the Commencement webpage closer to the event.
MassMutual Center does not own or operate any local parking facilities. The Civic Center Parking Garage is currently closed and under construction on Bruce Landon Way. Parking options are available with the Springfield Parking Authority along with MGM Springfield. Visit the MassMutual Center's website for more information regarding directions and parking.
