Education

B.S., University of Columbia, 1993
Ph.D., University of Ontario, 2006

Background

I came to Western New England by way of a postdoc in environmental microbiology at the University of Massachusetts, Amherst. Before that, I’ve studied plants and their pathogens in locations ranging from the Andes of Colombia to a remote northern community in Ontario.

Interests

I am interested in applying newly available genomic resources towards answering basic questions about the development of the vascular wilt pathogen Verticillium dahliae.
