Background

Tim Vercellotti joined the Department of History and Political Science in Fall 2008. He  directs the Polling Institute at Western New England University and Western New England's London summer program. He previously directed survey research centers at Rutgers University and Elon University. His research interests include youth political efficacy, the role of emotions in forming policy attitudes, and election administration. Prior to earning his doctorate, Vercellotti covered state and local government and politics as a daily newspaper reporter in Pennsylvania and North Carolina.
