Dual Degree Programs

JD/LLM IN ELDER LAW AND ESTATE PLANNING
Prospective students can simultaneously apply for admission to the JD program and the LLM in Elder Law and Estate Planning program. Applicants must indicate their interest in the program on the JD application form and submit a one-page statement regarding their motivation for pursuing the JD/LLM program. If admitted to the dual degree program, JD students may enroll in eight credits of LLM coursework, amounting to one third of the LLM program requirements. Upon completion of the JD program, and provided they are in good academic standing, students may continue to complete 16 additional credits in the LLM program. JD/MBA
Students may simultaneously complete the requirements for a Juris Doctor from Western New England University School of Law and a Master of Business Administration from the AACSB International accredited Western New England University College of Business. The MBA program is presented in a fully online format. Both degrees can be completed full-time in three years. Those interested in this dual degree must apply to each program separately. JD/MS in Organizational Leadership
Students may simultaneously complete the requirements for a Juris Doctor from the School of Law and a Master of Science in Organizational Leadership from the AACSB International accredited Western New England University College of Business. The MSOL is a program to prepare individuals to step into leadership positions and lead an organization to success. The MSOL program is presented in a fully online format. JD/MS in Sport Leadership and Coaching
The Juris Doctor/MS in Sport Leadership and Coaching dual degree program offers a unique opportunity for law students interested in working in the $435 billion-a-year sport industry for sport organizations, in collegiate sports, or as sport agents. Current Western New England University JD candidates can apply for admission for the JD/MS in Sport Leadership and Coaching Dual Degree Program upon completion of at least one semester of full-time study or three semesters of part-time study in the JD program.
JD/MS in Engineering Management
Students may simultaneously complete the requirements for a Juris Doctor from the School of Law and a Master of Science in Engineering Management. The MSEM is a program to prepare students to bring a legal perspective to the engineering environment. Candidates for the program must have a four-year undergraduate degree in engineering or a closely related field from an accredited college or university. JD/Master of Social Work
Students may simultaneously complete the requirements for a Juris Doctor from Western New England University School of Law and a Master of Social Work from the Springfield College School of Social Work. Both degrees can be completed full-time in four years. The JD/MSW may be especially useful in such practice areas as representing the disabled, child welfare, family law, juvenile justice, mental health, social welfare policy, domestic violence, law enforcement, human rights, and legal aid services. JD/Master of Regional Planning
Students may simultaneously complete the requirements for a Juris Doctor degree from Western New England University School of Law and a Master of Regional Planning degree from UMass Amherst.
