Shaping the Future of Justice

Western New England University School of Law’s centers and legislative institute reflect our many strengths.

The Center for Social Justice serves as an organizing framework for the School of Law's teaching, scholarship, advocacy, and public engagement.

As the only law school in western Massachusetts, our Institute for Legislative and Governmental Affairs has the opportunity to host state legislative events, appeals court hearings, and public events such as naturalization ceremonies.

Western New England University is an incubator for small business development in the Pioneer Valley region and the Center for Innovation & Entrepreneurship is the genesis of many cross-discipline collaborations at the University that provide resources to the local community, including legal assistance to entrepreneurs and small businesses in Hampden and Hampshire counties who are unable to afford legal services.

Many of the events offered through our centers are open to the public.
