Monday Mentors is a new program that offers students the opportunity to network, seek advice, and discuss career goals with alumni and local business professionals. Two members of the College of Business Board of Advisors, Ed Wilczynski '95 and Steven Tremblay '87/G'91, provided the inspiration for the program. Eleven alumni have participated this fall as Monday Mentors.
Anna Pickard, student coordinator of the Monday Mentors program and senior Accounting and Finance dual major, pointed out that that the Monday Mentors program is an invaluable opportunity to network with business leaders and former students. "Personally, I've received career advice and connections that will be lifelong mentoring relationships," she said.
