The Western New England University School of Law will host a virtual Lunch and Learn presentation titled Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion: Equal Treatment and Inclusion of the LGBTQ Community on Monday, January 30 at 12:00 noon.
Many of our social stereotypes and cultural norms presume people to be heterosexual and cisgender. As a result, some common interactions whether in classrooms, hallways, or workplaces, can leave LGBTQ people left out or excluded. In this Lunch and Learn session, we will talk about ways to ensure equal treatment and full inclusion of LGBTQ people across a range of settings. Bring your lunch, interest, curiosity, and experiences to this important DEI discussion.
