Howard Ashman and Alan Menken's musical Little Shop of Horrors is a horror-comedy sensation that has been entertaining audiences for over 30 years. The show is based on the 1960s cult classic film of the same name, but with a fresh and contemporary twist.

The story takes place in Skid Row, where a down-on-his-luck florist named Seymour discovers a strange and exotic plant that he names Audrey II, after his co-worker and crush. But when the plant begins to talk and demand to be fed human blood, Seymour's life takes a dark and dangerous turn. As Audrey II grows bigger and more insatiable, Seymour must decide whether to sacrifice his morals and give the plant what it wants or risk losing everything he holds dear.

With book and lyrics by Howard Ashman and music by Alan Menken, the show features catchy and memorable songs such as "Somewhere That's Green," "Feed Me," and "Suddenly, Seymour." The musical has been praised for its clever and witty writing, its dark humor, and its unforgettable characters.

Little Shop of Horrors has been performed all over the world and has been adapted into a feature film, an animated television series, and even a Broadway revival. It continues to captivate audiences with its mix of horror, humor, and heart, making it a must-see for theater lovers of all ages.

The performance is made possible thanks to support by The Office of Student Senate, The Office of Student Involvement and Connections, and the Department of Communications, Media, and the Arts.
