Western New England University (WNE) is pleased to announce its annual TEDx event, which will take place on Saturday, March 25 in the  Lyman and Leslie Wood Auditorium in Sleith Hall (room 100).

In this day and age, change is always occurring, often at a pace that is difficult to keep up with. Change can bring new viewpoints that transform the way we see our lives and surroundings. It is common for people to hold assumptions and biases that influence the way they see the world. However, seeking out new perspectives can challenge these preconceived notions and provide a fresh and insightful outlook. That is why this year's event focuses on the theme "A New Perspective."

TEDx Western New England University is thrilled to welcome two distinguished speakers (and WNE alumni), Robyn Stanco and Edward Zemba, who bring a wealth of knowledge and experience to the TEDx stage. Their talks promise to challenge our perceptions and inspire us to embrace new ideas.

Doors will open at 12:00 noon, and the event will kick off at 1:00 p.m. with a warm welcome from hosts. Attendees can look forward to a live musical performance at 1:15 p.m., followed by a thought-provoking talk from Robyn Stanco on "Embracing Differences Through Technology" at 2:00 p.m. An improv performance at 2:30 p.m. will provide a light-hearted break before Edward Zemba, takes the stage at 3:00 p.m. to discuss "How Disruptive Technologies Can Make Us More Human." The event will conclude with networking from 3:30 to 4:30 p.m.

TEDxWesternNewEnglandUniversity is a platform that inspires and engages audiences through powerful ideas. As an institution that values innovation and intellectual curiosity, Western New England University is proud to host TEDx, a local forum for ideas within the community that inspire people to change their lives, their futures, and ultimately their world.

The event is free to attend, but seats must be reserved in advance as space is limited. Join us for an exciting day of challenging our perceptions and embracing new ideas. We look forward to seeing you there!
