Welcome to Academic Affairs and the Office of the Provost at Western New England University, where excellence in education and a commitment to student success are at the heart of everything we do. D’Amour Library seeks to instantiate the overall mission of Western New England University by supporting the curriculum as well as the instructional and research needs of the University community. As a leader in information services, D’Amour Library strives to develop and enhance information collections in a variety of formats to foster the learning environment.

Through workshops, faculty presentations, and consultation, the Center serves as a repository for teaching-related information and gives students access to faculty who are well-trained to be excellent in and out of the classroom.

The office’s mission is to guide the development of a systematic and continuously improving process of assessing academic effectiveness in educating our students in a manner consistent with the Institution’s Mission Statement.

Institutional Review Board

The Western New England University Institutional Review Board is responsible for reviewing all human subjects research conducted on campus (or by university researchers off-campus). The purpose of this board is to ensure the protection and ethical treatment of all participants taking part in university-related research.

Student Accessibility Services

Student Accessibility Services serves as a resource for students with diagnosed disabilities providing accommodations and advocacy assistance to support equal access and the full participation of students with disabilities in all University programs, activities, and education.

The Vanech Family University Advising Center offers students a central location to access the resources they need to plan for their future. The Center is here from orientation to graduation—and beyond.

The Student Success Center promotes academic success, enriches students’ academic experience, and encourages student development. The Center provides several services geared towards helping students reach their academic potential.

Registrar’s Office

The Office of the Registrar supports the academic mission of Western New England University by providing academic support services to students, alumni, faculty, staff, and the broader university community. We ensure the integrity of WNE’s academic records by upholding compliance to academic policies, safeguarding the privacy of student records, and providing accurate and timely data.
