Senior Design Projects are comprehensive, one- and two-semester-long experiences where engineering students solve design problems under the guidance of a faculty advisor. Many of these projects have an industrial or clinical sponsor and resolve a real problem faced by an organization.
Student teaching allows students enrolled in Elementary or Secondary Education programs to complete the required 75 hours of pre-practicum field study in their sophomore or junior years as classroom observers, tutors, and teacher assistants, and 300 hours of full practicum teaching experience in their senior years.
