We extend our deepest sympathies to Marty Walsh following the unexpected loss of a close friend. In light of this personal tragedy, Mr. Walsh will be unable to join us as our 2025 Undergraduate Commencement speaker. Please know we fully support this difficult decision and ask our community to keep Mr. Walsh in their thoughts during this time.
While we are disappointed that our graduates will not have the opportunity to hear from him at Commencement as planned, he will still be joining President Johnson for a discussion on leadership and service on Wednesday afternoon in Sleith Hall, Room 100 from 1:00-2:00 p.m.
Graduate Commencement speaker Amy Fliegelman Olli L'88 has graciously agreed to share her insights, experience, and humor with the undergraduate Class of 2025. We look forward to celebrating all our graduates' accomplishments with memorable and meaningful ceremonies.
This year's Commencement will be held at the MassMutual Center in Springfield, MA. Both ceremonies will happen on the same day—Thursday, May 15, 2025.
Each Undergraduate level graduating student will receive 8 tickets for the Undergraduate Commencement Ceremony.
Each Graduate level graduating student will receive 15 tickets for the Graduate Commencement Ceremony.
Tickets for families, friends, and guests will be issued electronically from the MassMutual Center beginning Friday, April 18. An email will be sent from mmcticketoffice@mgmspringfield.com. Deadline to claim tickets is May 8. If you have any issues claiming/transferring tickets or have not received the link, please contact the MassMutual Box Office at 413-787-6600.
A limited number of extra tickets will be available for pick up for both the Undergraduate and Graduate Ceremonies at the front desk of the Enrollment Services Office, located in the bottom floor of the D'Amour Library, beginning Tuesday, May 13 at 10:00 a.m. First come, first served. Please bring your photo ID with you.
Please note: For the Undergraduate Ceremony, we will only be able to provide one (1) extra ticket per request, first come first serve, while supplies last!
