Graduate Tuition Scholarships
Western New England University offers tuition scholarships of $4,000 annually to eligible master’s candidates who are enrolled in at least 6 credits in a semester. Applicants will be awarded the scholarship upon being admitted to an eligible program. Funds will be disbursed evenly each semester that a degree-seeking candidate is enrolled in at least 6 credits. Additional details include the following:
- Available to admitted U.S. Citizens and Permanent Residents.
- The scholarship cannot be combined with the free course offer for WNE bachelor’s graduates.
- Not available to those receiving a tuition discount based on an existing agreement with WNE and their employer.
- Not available to graduate assistants or WNE employees receiving tuition assistance.
- Not available to School of Law and College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences dual degree candidates, or MA for Teacher programs.
- The scholarship can be applied toward one master’s program.
- The max amount awarded for a 30-credit program is $6,000 and $8,000 for a 36-credit program. The amount of funding disbursed each semester will be based on the program and total credits each semester (Fall, Spring, and Summer). The amount may change each semester based on the course load. A total of $2,000 will be disbursed each semester for a master’s candidate enrolled in 9 credits. Master’s candidates enrolled in 6 credits will receive $1,200–$1,333 each semester, based on their program.
International Graduate Student Tuition Scholarship
Western New England University offers tuition scholarships of $4,000 annually to eligible master’s candidates who are enrolled in at least 9 credits in a semester. Applicants will be awarded the scholarship upon being admitted to an eligible program. Funds will be disbursed evenly during the fall and spring semesters that a degree-seeking candidate is enrolled in at least 9 credits. Additional details include the following:
- The scholarship cannot be combined with the free course offer for WNE bachelor’s graduates.
- Not available to those receiving a tuition discount based on an existing agreement with WNE and their employer.
- Not available to graduate assistants or WNE employees receiving tuition assistance.
- Not available to School of Law and College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences dual degree candidates, or MA for Teacher programs.
- The scholarship can be applied toward one master’s program.

Graduate Housing Scholarship
Western New England University offers graduate housing scholarships of $3,000 annually to eligible degree-seeking graduate candidates. Scholarships will be awarded at the time of admission and disbursed to candidates who secure campus-housing. The disbursement schedule can vary but will typically be fall and spring.

Students whose employer pays the University directly must provide Western New England University with an employer authorization form or a letter from their employer, on company letterhead, indicating their commitment to pay under direct billing. The letter should also include billing contact information. New authorization is required each semester and can be faxed to the Enrollment Services Office, Attention: Billing at 413-796-2081.
