College of Engineering
At the College of Engineering, we prepare our students to be innovative, entrepreneurial, and prepared to apply their education to solve the numerous challenges facing our global society. You will find our graduates working at the forefront of aerospace, healthcare, communications, energy, manufacturing, transportation, government, and many other fields. They are CEOs, project managers, senior engineers, and entrepreneurs. They set high standards for themselves and we expect great things of them.
For inspiration, our students need look no further than their accomplished professors who bring years of wide-ranging research and experience in industry to our classrooms and labs. They mentor and guide students through team-based projects and presentations and prepare them to solve real-world challenges through internships, Senior Design Projects, and undergraduate research.
Undergraduates can pursue six majors and several time and tuition saving combined degree programs. In keeping with national trends, 37% of our students registered at Open House are undecided. Our Exploratory Program gives you the freedom to consider all of your options–a smart way to maximize your investment.
Whether you are pursuing an undergraduate or advanced degree, the College of Engineering will give you the tools and the foundation to use your engineering education to improve people’s lives. It all begins on Day One.
