Risk Management

Addressing Institutional Risk

Risk management is a process to identify, assess, manage, and prioritize different risks associated with operations. The goal of risk management is to protect the University from risk exposures that could lead to physical or property harm or financial loss. There are different ways to mitigate risk by understanding risks and recognizing the potential consequences.

In the fall of 2019, the University engaged the services of an outside consultant to help administer an Enterprise Risk Management Program on the campus.
