Mission Statement
The CSJ pursues its mission and vision through five primary avenues: research, education, advocacy, innovation, and public engagement. Through cooperation, communication, and collaboration, the CSJ advances, enhances, and supports this mission and vision by:
- Promoting interdisciplinary, synergistic justice projects on campus.
- Generating opportunities for student involvement in advocacy, research, and pro bono programs.
- Supporting innovative research, scholarship, and pedagogy in fields that intersect with the CSJ’s programs and align with its mission.
- Developing relationships and partnerships with community-based organizations.
- Supporting the Law School's public engagement efforts to provide legal education and pro bono services to those in need.
