These platforms are incredible tools to promote our main university accounts, which are run by the Division of Marketing & External Affairs. In addition, the WNE community features social media accounts run by various departments, programs, clubs, and teams, who collaborate to promote and expand our brand across the various platforms.
Social media acts as a pivotal conduit for University communication, allowing for the sharing of information, fostering engagement, and nurturing a sense of community among its diverse audience, which includes students, faculty, staff, alumni, prospective students, parents, and the global community. WNE utilizes social media as a tool to facilitate effective two-way communication, enhance awareness regarding the University's mission and values, and garner support from local, national, and international communities.
