The Facilities Department has scheduled snow removal for Saturday, February 15, 2025. To assist in this effort, all vehicles in the common parking lots must be moved to an alternate location by 9:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 15. Residence lots will remain open for students. 
Please exercise caution while walking or driving on campus, as snow and rain may create slippery and icy conditions, making travel more challenging.

Retired U.S. Department of State Foreign Service Officer Hugh Dugan will present "Sport and Diplomacy," at the Center for International Sport Business (CISB) program series, "For the Love of the Games."

Hugh Dugan profile photoRetired U.S. Department of State Foreign Service Officer Hugh Dugan will present “Sport and Diplomacy” at the Center for International Sport Business (CISB) program series, “For the Love of the Games.” The presentation will take place on Wednesday, March 8, at 7:00 p.m. in the Lyman and Leslie Wood Auditorium. Dugan currently serves as a Distinguished Visiting Scholar and Fellow at the School of Diplomacy and International Relations at Seton Hall University.

Dugan will talk about his diplomatic career spanning 32 years, including serving as senior adviser to 11 U.S. ambassadors to the United Nations, and his work to secure adoption of the ancient tradition of the Olympic Truce by the UN General Assembly.

This event is free and open to the public, and is sponsored by the Western New England University Alumni Association. 

Established in 2007, the CISB is a forum for the study of the business of sport with an international focus. In addition to the distinguished speaker program that brings prominent personalities from sport and business to the University community, the CISB organizes a summer Seminar Abroad Program that takes students to the Olympic Games and FIFA World Cup.
