The Western New England University School of Law will present a series of policy discussions that will focus on the critical issues President Trump’s Administration is likely to address in its early days. This series of programs will begin on Thursday, January 19, and will continue through the spring. Each session will be led by experts on the issue being discussed. This program is free and open to the public, and audience participation is encouraged.
The first three programs are scheduled as follows: Thursday, January 19, Electoral College and Inauguration; Thursday, January 26, President Trump’s Inaugural Address; Friday, February 3, Immigration. All events are held in the Blake Law Center at 12:00 noon. The discussion series will provide accurate and current information, to reduce misinformation.
Additional sessions topics may include, Supreme Court appointments, the environment, women’s rights, tax reform, the economy, international trade and foreign affairs, voting rights, protection of minorities, workers rights, LGBT concerns, and banking.
Professor Art Wolf, director of the Institute for Legislative and Governmental Affairs in the School of Law will moderate the panel discussions.
