Western New England University held its annual Student Activities Expo in Rivers Memorial Hall on September 7, welcoming all new and returning University students to explore over 70 clubs and organizations offered on campus. Kayla Bolduc, a sophomore in the Pre-Physician Assistant Program, attended the event and explored the many options to get involved in. “I like this event because it shows how enthusiastic and eager the students here are to get involved. There is a lot of energy here today.”
Whether you want to host a program on the University radio station, or debate issues in the Model United Nations club, go hiking on weekends, or dissect classic films, there are activities for everyone on campus. Students are also encouraged to gather a few like-minded friends on campus, and start their own unique club!
Hundreds of students navigated through dozens of tables set up by clubs and other campus organizations, showcasing their agendas and activities, enticing students to become members with free gifts and opportunities for leadership. The Student Activities Expo is the largest recruiting event for the University’s clubs during the academic year.
