The Facilities Department has scheduled snow removal for Saturday, February 15, 2025. To assist in this effort, all vehicles in the common parking lots must be moved to an alternate location by 9:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 15. Residence lots will remain open for students. 
Please exercise caution while walking or driving on campus, as snow and rain may create slippery and icy conditions, making travel more challenging.

Western New England University will host its 56th annual Tax Institute on Wednesday, November 15, from 8:15 a.m. to 4:45 p.m. in Sleith Hall. This year’s program will include workshops on the Strategies to Pay for College, Planning for Social Security, Tax Aspects of Rental Real Estate, Trusts and Estates Update, and more.  The luncheon will feature John Fitterer, Director of Communications, Massachusetts Association of Community Development Corporations (MACDC). He will discuss the Massachusetts Community Investment Tax Credit (CITC).

The Tax Institute workshops include written materials and oral presentations from expert speakers on detailed tax structuring and planning techniques, and their practical applications. The program is designed for CPAs, enrolled agents, and tax preparers. Attendance qualifies for eight CPE credits based on the Massachusetts Board of Public Accountancy Rules and Regulations.

This event is sponsored by the College of Business. The cost of this program is $199 per person.
