Longmeadow Native and Author John Glynn to Speak at Western New England University on October 24

Western New England University will host author John Glynn on Thursday, October 24, at 4:00 p.m. in Sleith Hall Wood Auditorium on the University campus. A reception will follow the presentation. This event is free and open to the public.

Glynn will discuss Out East his memoir which chronicles his coming-of-age in a summer share, as he came to terms with being gay. Glynn is currently an editor at Hanover Square Press, an imprint of HarperCollins. He grew up in Longmeadow, MA, and lives in New York City. Out East was named the Best Book of May 2019 for Entertainment Weekly, TIME Magazine, and Cosmopolitan, and was Oprah Magazine's Best LGBTQ Book of 2019.
