Capitalizing on his previous success in the March 2020 American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME) Engineering Festival (E-Fest) where he won third place in the Elevator Pitch Contest, Mechanical Engineering senior Wojciech Kochanczyk placed second in the E-Fest Digital Elevator Pitch Contest in April.
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the April E-Fest was held virtually, and rather than presenting their elevator pitches in person to the judges, participants created videos for submission.
ASME’s E-Fests are regional events for engineering students that include design competitions, career development workshops, access to thought leaders and innovators in various engineering fields, and networking opportunities.
