Western New England University (WNE) has recently joined Acadeum, an online course sharing consortium. Acadeum is a network of colleges and universities committed to sharing online courses to improve student progress.

"Joining Acadeum is an exciting development for our university," said Western New England University Interim Provost Dr. Curt Hamakawa, "This partnership provides flexibility for WNE students to take classes from other Acadeum consortium member colleges and universities. This will provide elective course alternatives allowing students the ability to strategically plan their course options to stay on track in their major."

Acadeum hosts 275 networks of colleges and universities committed to sharing high-quality online courses to improve student success and to ensure that all learners have access to the courses they need when and where they need them. Acadeum’s mission is to expand options for students in higher education by leveraging the full power of interconnected networks.
