Western New England University's Stageless Players is pleased to present Louisa May Alcott's Little Women, adapted for the stage by Marisha Chamberlain. Performances will take place on Friday, November 19 and Saturday November 20 at 7:00 p.m. as well as a matinée performance on November 20 at 1:00 p.m. All performances will take place in Sleith Hall, Wood Auditorium on the Western New England University campus.
Set in 1863, Little Women by Marisha Chamberlain follows the life of the March family and the struggle to keep their family going while Father is away in the Civil War. In this beautifully dramatized version of the classic novel, even as privation, illness, and sibling rivalry cast their shadows, each girl strives to find her true self.
The production is directed by Western New England University student Julia Hart (Suffield, CT) and sponsored by Student Senate, Office of Student Activities and Leadership Development, the Department of Arts and Humanities, and the Western New England University Alumni Association.
