Western New England University (WNE) College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences (COPHS) is proud to announce successful match rates for both PGY1 and PGY2.
Out of 16 students and graduates who participated in Phase 1 of the match process, 9 were matched to PGY1 programs and 5 were matched to PGY2 programs. This results in an impressive 81.8% match rate for PGY1 and a perfect 100% match rate for PGY2.
The Match Rate system is an important tool in the process of matching students and graduates to post-graduate year (PGY) programs in the field of pharmacy. It provides a standardized measure of the success of applicants in obtaining a position in a particular program.
"We are so proud of our students and graduates for their hard work and dedication to their education and future careers," said Kam Capoccia, Chair of the WNE College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences Residency Advisory Committee. "We wish them the best of luck as they embark on this next chapter of their lives."
The WNE College of Pharmacy results demonstrate the success of its students and graduates in securing a PGY position. The impressive 81.8% match rate for PGY1 and the perfect 100% match rate for PGY2 indicate that the college is preparing its students and graduates well for the competitive process of matching to post-graduate programs. Such results also demonstrate the quality of the college in providing a strong educational and professional foundation for its students and graduates.
