Western New England University (WNE) is pleased to announce the appointment of Elin O'Hara-Gonya as the new director of D'Amour Library.
O'Hara-Gonya brings a wealth of experience to her new role, with a distinguished 17-year career at SUNY Plattsburgh. Most recently, she served as the director of the Feinberg Library, where she demonstrated exceptional leadership and a commitment to advancing academic resources and services.
O'Hara-Gonya holds a Master of Library Science (MLS) in Academic Librarianship from Southern Connecticut State University and a Master of Science (MS) in Mental Health Counseling from SUNY Plattsburgh. Her multidisciplinary background uniquely positions her to make a significant impact at Western New England University.
In addition to her role as director of D'Amour Library, O'Hara-Gonya will join the faculty of the Department of Psychology as a professional educator, further enriching the academic community at WNE.
