Western New England University (WNE) invites faculty, staff, and students to a Lunch and Learn Diversity, Equity, & Inclusion (DEI) event titled "Entrepreneurial Minded Learning and DEI in Higher Education." This enlightening session will feature distinguished facilitators, Dr. Devina Jaiswal, Assistant Professor of Biomedical Engineering, and Dr. Lisa Murray, Assistant Professor of Practice. Dr. Bridgette Baldwin, Professor of Law, will serve as the moderator for the event.
Sponsored by the School of Law Outreach and Diversity Committee, the Lunch and Learn aims to foster an environment where diversity, equity, and inclusion are at the forefront of higher education. The focus will be on incorporating DEI concepts into the curriculum to better prepare students for collaboration in diverse workplaces and improve their exposure to various cultures.
The event will delve into the interconnectivity of the entrepreneurial mindset and DEI, aiming to enhance classrooms for the equal benefit of all identity groups. Participants will explore how integrating DEI concepts into educational settings can ignite curiosity, improve connections between students with diverse competencies, and enhance communication skills.
