The Western New England University women's basketball team secured a triumphant victory on Saturday afternoon, February 24, emerging as the Commonwealth Coast Conference Champions for the first time since the 2018-2019 season. In a thrilling showdown against the University of New England, the Golden Bears showcased their skill on the court, clinching the coveted title with a final score of 50-49.

The thrilling win propels the Golden Bears into the NCAA Championships, marking their first appearance in the prestigious tournament since the 2019-2020 season.
