PharmD(-DLP)/MSPGx(-HP) Dual Degree
Students enrolled in the Doctor of Pharmacy in-person or distance pathway program are eligible to apply for admission to the Master’s in Pharmacogenomics degree in-person or hybrid pathway program during their first year in the PharmD program (PY1), after January 1. Applications should be submitted by March 1, so as to have adequate time for academic advising and fall course selection.
MSPGx to PharmD Pathway
MSPGx students interested in earning both a master’s degree and a PharmD degree can complete both degrees within a 5-year period without having to complete pharmacy prerequisite coursework. Students will apply during their second semester in the MSPGx program.
Undergraduate Students in Biology, Health Sciences, or Neuroscience
Students in good standing in these majors are eligible to apply for admission to the Master’s in Pharmacogenomics degree program during their junior year after January 1. Students enrolling through this pathway can potentially save approximately half of the cost of the MSPGx degree and reduce graduate program course load, improving academic success and school-life balance.
