Camp Topics

Community Pharmacy & Ambulatory Care

Many pharmacists serve the community in local retail stores, where they fill prescriptions, counsel patients on their medications, and answer questions from both patients and other healthcare providers. They may also work as part of healthcare teams in outpatient clinics, providing care for specific patient populations.

Hospital Pharmacy

Pharmacists can work in a hospital compounding medications for individual patients or working with the medical team to make sure every patient gets the best treatment.

Pharmaceutics

To be a pharmacist, you must also learn how to work and compound various dosage forms.

DNA Extraction/Purification

As newer personalized medication becomes more popular, pharmacists must learn how to work with genetics.

Occupational Therapy

Interested in exploring other healthcare careers? Discover what it means to be an occupational therapist! In this rapidly growing field, practitioners help individuals and communities perform essential daily activities and routines.

Neuroscience

Neuroscientists work toward a common goal: to understand the structure, development, and function of the nervous system. Learn about how psychology, biology, and chemistry work together to understand the human body!

General Education & Admissions

Learn about the college application and how to stand out regardless of where you apply!
