The Sport Management program is the largest undergraduate major in the College of Business. Opportunity and versatility are two reasons that draw students to the Department of Sport Management to earn their BSBA degree. Watch a video about their experiences.

Through the Sport Management major, students gain a solid business foundation that can lead in many directions, from scouting for the NFL to being a producer for ESPN. Center for International Sport Business

As sport is a global industry, we help out students enhance their worldview through the Center for International Sport Business (CISB). The Center invites sport figures from around the world to speak on campus. It also sponsors seminar trips to international sporting events around the world. Past trips have included the Olympic Games and the FIFA World Cup, with new events and destinations for the future!

WNE Hosts Open Finance Conference 2025, Connecting Students with Industry Leaders 

WNE's FinTech program welcomed leading voices in the financial technology sector to campus for the Open Finance Conference 2025 (OFC ’25). More than 70 people attended the event that brought together industry experts, academic researchers, students, and policymakers to explore how open finance is reshaping the future of financial services.

WNE Inducts 56 Student-Athletes into Chi Alpha Sigma National Honor Society

Fifty-six student-athletes from 17 varsity sports were inducted into the Chi Alpha Sigma National Honor Society—the National College Athlete Honor Society—during the Thursday, May 1 ceremony in the Downes Athletic Hall of Fame Room.
