Applying for Federal Aid<

If you are applying for any federal, institutional, or state aid, you must submit the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). The FAFSA should be available to fill out on or around December 1. You should complete and submit the FAFSA online. Watch this tutorial video for more information. (NOTE: There is no additional institutional financial aid application when you apply to WNE.)

Merit Aid for High School Performance

Through the Western New England University Merit Aid program, first-year students are awarded scholarship money for high school academic achievement. For transfer students, scholarships are based on college grades. In many cases, the net costs (after considering all forms of financial aid and fees) are competitive with the cost of attending a state-supported institution, making WNE an excellent choice for your future career, as well as a great value for a private college educational experience.

Competing Award Policy

WNE is committed to being among the most affordable four-year private university options for residential education. If, after receiving your comprehensive financial aid package, you find that another comparable school you have been admitted to is more affordable, we may be able to assist further. Comparable schools are typically other 4-year private institutions or state schools with out-of-state pricing. You can complete the Competing Awards/Appeals Form.
