Applying for Federal Aid

If you are applying for any federal, institutional, or state aid, you must submit the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) for processing after October 1. You should complete and submit the FAFSA online at www.fafsa.gov. Watch this tutorial video if you need help getting started. (NOTE: There is no additional institutional financial aid application when you apply to WNE.)

Be sure to enter the Title IV code for Western New England University: 002226. Please use the IRS Data Retrieval Tool (IRS DRT) when completing the FAFSA.

Merit Aid for High School Performance

Through the Western New England University Merit Aid program, first-year students are awarded scholarship money for high school academic achievement. For transfer students, scholarships are based on college grades. In many cases, the net costs (after considering all forms of financial aid and fees) are competitive with the cost of attending a state-supported institution, making WNE an excellent choice for your future career, as well as a great value for a private college educational experience.
