  • Residence Halls (RDs/RAs on duty)
  • Dining

Scheduled face-to-face classes will not take place on campus. At the discretion of faculty, some in-person classes may be held remotely. Faculty will communicate directly, so please check your email and course site for updates.

Classes that are already scheduled to be fully remote will continue as usual unless otherwise communicated by your instructor.

Staff
Staff who are able to work remotely should coordinate with their supervisors as appropriate.

Staying Informed

The University’s Inclement Weather Policy is available on the WNE website via the homepage banner. We will communicate any changes or reopening details through WNE Alert, email, and the University website.

Withdrawals and Refunds

Refund And Withdrawal Criteria

Tuition Refund Schedule

Our refund policy is based on the fact that the University makes commitments in advance to our teaching staff and others who provide vital services to students and the University. Your enrollment may have prevented another student from registering for a course or may have kept us from canceling a course with low enrollment. We must cover the costs of these services to you and other students.

Financial aid recipients, please note:
Federal and state aid is awarded and disbursed based on the assumption that a student will attend courses for the entire semester and is therefore eligible for the entire amount of the disbursement. When a student withdraws before 60% of the semester is completed, the University is required, under Federal law, to recalculate federal and/or state financial aid and return unearned funds to the appropriate agency. The calculation is based on the number of days the student was enrolled for the semester. For example, a student who completes only 20% of the semester will keep only 20% of his or her federal and/or state funds. The remaining 80% will be returned to the appropriate source. Western New England institutional funds will be refunded at the same rate as the tuition refund policy.

Fees are non-refundable and tuition payments are not transferable.
