The Western New England University community will join together on Friday, November 11, at the Gazebo on Deliso Lawn to celebrate and honor the courage and sacrifice of all U.S. veterans who have served our country. They answered the call of duty with courage and accepted a responsibility beyond themselves—the cause of freedom.
The ceremony will begin at 12:00 noon with remarks by College of Business Dean Sharianne Walker and University President Dr. Robert Johnson. Major Brian Alexander will give the keynote address. The ceremony will include the opportunity for guests to celebrate their loved ones who are serving or who have served in the military, and will conclude with the laying of a wreath symbolizing the beauty and brevity of life.
