Western New England University’s FinTech Incubator Launches FinTech + AI 413 Startup Launch Series

The Western New England University FinTech Incubator (FTI) is thrilled to announce the commencement of the WNE FinTech + AI 413 Startup Launch Series, an innovative program designed to foster entrepreneurship and innovation in the fields of Financial Technology (FinTech) and Artificial Intelligence (AI).

The Startup Launch Series offers a unique opportunity for college students and aspiring entrepreneurs in Massachusetts to transform their startup ideas into reality. Participants will benefit from expert coaching, access to high-performance computing resources, and opportunities for funding. The program aims to immerse participants in the vibrant FinTech ecosystem of the region, providing access to the high-performance computing cluster at the FTI.

"We are excited to invite individuals with a passion for technology and entrepreneurship to join us for the WNE FinTech + AI 413 Startup Launch Series," said Western New England University Associate Professor of Business Analytics Dr. Charles Mutigwe. "Through personalized training by our esteemed faculty, corporate partners and local nonprofits, participants will have the support they need to secure funding and incentives to turn their innovative ideas into successful ventures."

The program includes a series of events and activities tailored to guide participants through every stage of the startup journey:

  • Idea Jam - Thursday, April 11, 2024
  • Elevator Pitch Camp - Thursday, April 18, 2024
  • Elevator Pitch Contest - Thursday, April 25, 2024
  • Summer Residential Fellowship (six weeks) - June-July 2024
  • SOAR Show-and-Tell - June 2024
  • Fall Demo Day - September 2024
