Application Process for 0-6 Pharmacy Students

Applying to the PharmD program is easy!

0-6 Pharmacy students are guaranteed a spot in the PharmD program if they meet all progression requirements:

  • Attain a minimum GPA of 3.10 following the completion of your first academic year.
  • All prerequisite courses must be completed with a grade of “C-” or higher.
  • Submit a completed PharmCAS application, by the priority deadline of October 3 of your sophomore year.
  • WNE Pharmacy students who meet the 3.10 GPA requirement are not required to submit recommendations (skip this section of the PharmCAS application.)
  • Transcripts from all schools attended, including WNE and community colleges, must be sent directly to PharmCAS. This should be done as early as possible (end of August-early September) to allow PharmCAS two to four weeks processing time.
  • Complete a successful interview through the College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences. WNE Pharmacy students will be invited to participate in a preferred interview day program designed to expedite your transition into the PharmD program

WNE Pharmacy students who do not meet progression requirements should still apply through PharmCAS. Two letters of recommendation will be required (one must be from a professor). Qualified applicants will be invited to complete an interview after the preferred interview day (s).

*PharmD enrollment deposits are waived for WNE Pharmacy students.

Priority Deadline: October 3, 2023
Regular deadline: Rolling - accepting applications on a space-available basis until June 3, 2024
