Deposited Student Resources

Welcome to the Western New England University community! We are pleased that you have decided to continue your education here.  On this page you will find a wealth of information that will help you prepare to begin your studies in the College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences. After payment of both enrollment deposits (MS students pay one enrollment deposit), students will be provided with a User ID to set up a Western New England University email account. Your User ID will be used to access all of the University's online resources, such as Connect2U and Kodiak. Activate Your WNE ID and Email

 After submitting your enrollment deposits, you will receive an email from the University within 1-2 business days containing your User ID, with details on activating your ID and accessing your WNE email.

Connect2U

One-stop surfing—Your personal Connect2U Web portal is a single point of access for commonly used WNE web applications such as Webmail, and Self-Service. This is where you will access your grades and much more. You will use your User ID to access your Connect2U portal.  You can find the required Health Forms and Covid vaccination documents here as well.  To login to your Connect2U account, visit http://www1.wne.edu/connect2u.

KODIAK

 WNE uses Desire2Learn as our Learning Management System. We named our installation of Desire2Learn in honor of the Western New England University mascot, Kodiak the Golden Bear.

  • Kodiak's login page is at https://kodiak.wne.edu. If you can't login, test your password by logging into email at https://owa.wne.edu. If you can't login to email either, try using the self-service features on the login help page to resolve your password issue.
  • To report a problem contact the Office of Information Technology Service Desk at helpdesk@wne.edu or (413) 796-2200, or open a work order using the "Manage Work Orders" feature on Connect2U
  • Kodiak is closely linked to your @wne.edu email account, so you must regularly check your email. Visit the email support page to learn more.
  • If you are on campus, you can drop by the Educational Technology office for assistance Monday-Friday 8:30 a.m.-4:30 p.m.. We're located on the ground floor of D'Amour Library in Room G-9 next to the TV Studio and across the hall from the G-26 computer classroom. Educational Technology's email address is edtech@wne.edu 

Registering for Classes

The registration period for COPHS students typically begins in mid to late June. You will register via our student information system, Self-Service, using your Western New England login credentials. You will be sent additional instructions via email before registration opens.

Student ID & Parking Permit

Make it official—after you have completed course registration, you should connect with the Department of Public Safety prior to your first day of orientation. A student ID and parking permit are mandatory for all students attending class on campus. You will need the ID to borrow library books, enter certain campus buildings, and charge books and/or food to your student account. Open 24/7 the Department of Public Safety is located on the Evergreen access road.

Financial Aid and Billing Information

You will access financial aid and billing information through the University Student Portal, Connect2U. The receipt of financial aid documents, your award letter production date, award amounts, and other information are listed on an on-going basis. For questions concerning financial aid and billing, please contact Enrollment Services.

University Bookstore

Conveniently located at the St. Germain Campus Center, the University Bookstore offers one-stop shopping for textbooks, course supplies, newspapers, greeting cards, and University souvenirs. You are welcome to order your textbooks online through our bookstore.

The Career Center

Located on the second floor of the St. Germain Campus Center, the Kevin S. and Sandra E. Delbridge Career Center can assist with career planning, occupational exploration, and job search strategies. College Central, the Career Resource website, allows you to post your résumé online and search over three million job listings.

D'Amour Library

The Library contains over 135,800 volumes, and has access to thousands of printed and online periodicals. An interlibrary loan program can locate additional materials from cooperating institutions. Your student ID will serve as your library card. During orientation, you will be given a barcode and Personal Identification Number (PIN) allowing you to access the library’s online databases and e-books.

Academic Support

At Western New England University, our student-centered focus means that you will be both challenged and supported to succeed here. We offer a variety of academic support services, including free academic tutoring to help students improve their skills and learn techniques to master new course content. With this support, students are encouraged to seek out assistance when they need it and empowered to build upon that experience on future assignments.

Center for Health and Wellness

The Center for Health and Wellness is located in Room 235 on the second floor of the Center for the Sciences and Pharmacy. The facility is open to all enrolled students.

For those of you new to the University, please be sure to complete the required health clearance forms found herePlease complete and submit forms to the Office of Health Services by August 1. Please contact Health Services directly, at 413-782-1211, if you have any questions.

Due to the requirements of our affiliated fieldwork sites, all OTD students are required to complete two-step TB testing upon their arrival to begin the fall semester. Please complete the two TB risk questions on the health form, but do not undergo a TB skin test or T-Spot TB at this time.

Center for Health and Wellness

Anthony S. Caprio Alumni Healthful Living Center (AHLC)

AHLC offers students a place to enrich their lives beyond the classroom. The facility features a fitness center, indoor track, racquetball and squash courts, aerobics room, eight-lane pool, recreation area, 2,000-seat basketball facility, and wrestling room, all under one roof.

On Campus Housing

Western New England University is pleased to offer campus housing for graduate students in the Gateway Village apartment complex. The capacity of an apartment varies from one to three residents. In living space with more than one occupant, each resident has a private bedroom. Space is available on a first come, first served basis, so please fill out the housing application as soon as possible.
