Premium Single Options Available
A limited number of double rooms are available on a first come, first served basis for students to request as a premium single. Premium singles afford more privacy and are furnished with two sets of furniture that students can rearrange to their liking.
First year students who want to request a premium single will see that option on their housing application in THD and can request a premium single by indicating they would like one. As space for premium singles is limited, a request for a premium single does not guarantee that a student will be assigned to one.
If you have any questions about the premium single option, please email Residence Life at residencelife@wne.edu.

What is the Freshman & Sophomore Residency Requirement?
Studies show that living on campus can help students feel more engaged in student life which leads to increased success in the classroom. Western New England University requires all first year and sophomore students to live on campus, and we recommend all students to live on campus for the duration of their time at Western New England University. Exceptions to this policy will be made for students living at home with a parent or legal guardian within a 50-mile radius of the University (determined by GPS). Other circumstances may qualify for exception. Learn more about the residency requirement on our Living on Campus page.
