Receiving Your Packages
Mail Services processes FedEx shipments daily. Departments must contact Mail Services by 2:00 p.m. to arrange for pick-up to meet the FedEx campus pick-up time. All necessary forms, envelopes, and boxes for shipping via FedEx are available at Mail Services. Please note that FedEx cannot deliver to a P.O. Box—it must be an address. If you cannot make the deadline, there is a drop box located outside Mail Services at the Campus Utility Building (CUB).
FedEx offers different delivery options, including International. If you have questions on how to ship via FedEx, review the FedEx Service Guide to assist your needs, visit their website www.fedex.com, or contact Mail Services to assist you with the right avenue to get your letter or package to its destination on time. Faculty, Staff, and Students sending an envelope or package via FedEx for personal business, must fill out a Western New England University Mail Services Agreement at the Mail Services' window.
Urgent Delivery - FedEx SameDay and FedEx SameDay city are for urgent shipments to be delivered within hours, pending flight availability 365 days a year to all 50 states all for an extra charge.
First Overnight - For shipments available to all 50 states, delivery by 8:00 a.m. to noon pending destination Zip Code. For an extra charge, Saturday pickup and delivery is available with this service.
Priority Overnight - For shipments available to all 50 states, this service pending destination can be delivered next business day between 10:30 a.m. to 12:00 noon and 4:30 - 5:00 p.m. to remote areas. For an extra charge, Saturday pickup is available with this service.
Standard Overnight - An economical overnight option where delivery is by 3:00 p.m, by 4:30 p.m. to rural areas, and by 8:00 p.m. to residences next business day pending location. Available to all 50 states with the exception of certain areas in Alaska and Hawaii. For an extra charge, Saturday pickup is available with this service.
2 Day A.M. - Delivery by 10:30 a.m. in 2 business days, pending location - rural areas by 12:00 noon, is available to 50 states excluding Hawaii. For an extra charge, Saturday pickup is available in many areas.
2 Day - Delivery by 4:30 p.m. in 2 business days to most locations and to residences by 8:00 p.m. is available to 50 states. For an extra charge, Saturday pickup and delivery is available in many areas.
Express Saver - Delivery by 4:30 p.m. in 3 business days to most locations and to residences by 8:00 p.m. is available to 50 states excluding Alaska and Hawaii. For an extra charge, Saturday pickup and delivery is available.
International - FedEx has many options for mailing internationally. See their website
